Notes From This Study:

1 Corinthians 10:11
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)

11 These things happened to them to serve as an example, and they were written down to instruct us, on whom the ends of the ages have come.

From Facebook user Holly Cross:
This may help us as we share with Christians WHY we are Keeping The Feasts of YHWH:
In the End, there is no such thing as “Jew” or “Gentile”… There is only “In Covenant” or “Out of Covenant” with YHWH.
To learn how to “Get in Covenant,” begin by learning:
      • who you are (Genesis)
      • where you should be going (Exodus)
      • to be Set Apart and Holy (Leviticus)
      • to Trust YHWH as He guides you (Numbers)
      • to OBEY HIS INSTRUCTIONS so you may Live (Deuteronomy)

This will not be too hard for you, because Messiah laid down His Life to make it possible for you to “Get in Covenant” with His Father! He even sent His Set Apart Spirit to give you strength to finish the Race! If you think of yourself as a “Gentile Christian” you may be suffering from Spiritual Identity Theft. The only Cure is to start at the very BEGINNING.

The Tabernacle, the People and the Cross:

1 Enoch testifies that the book is for a remote generation that will live in the day of Tribulation:

1. The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. 2. And he took up his parable and said--Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote [future] one which is for to come.

Who are the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11? Consider this:

Revelation 11  (NASB)

1 Then there was given me a measuring rod like a staff; and someone said, “Get up and measure thetemple of God and the altar, and those who worship in it. Leave out the court which is outside thetemple and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they will tread under foot the holy city for forty-two months. And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.” These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.

If we allow Scripture to interpret itself, compare the above with:

Zechariah 3 (NASB)

Joshua, the High Priest

1 Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him. The Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Indeed, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?” Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and standing before the angel. He spoke and said to those who were standing before him, saying, “Remove the filthy garments from him.” Again he said to him, “See, I have taken your iniquity away from you and will clothe you with festal robes.” Then I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with garments, while the angel of the Lord was standing by.

And the angel of the Lord admonished Joshua, saying, “Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘If you will walk in My ways and if you will perform My service, then you will also govern My house and also have charge of My courts, and I will grant you free access among these who are standing here.

The Branch

Now listen, Joshua the high priest, you and your friends who are sitting in front of you—indeed they are men who are a symbol, for behold, I am going to bring in My servant the Branch. For behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua; on one stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave an inscription on it,’ declares the Lord of hosts, ‘and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. 10 ‘In that day,’ declares the Lord of hosts, ‘every one of you will invite his neighbor to sit under his vine and under his fig tree.’”

Zechariah 4 (NASB)

The Golden Lampstand and Olive Trees

1 Then the angel who was speaking with me returned and roused me, as a man who is awakened from his sleep. He said to me, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold with its bowl on the top of it, and its seven lamps on it with seven spouts belonging to each of the lamps which are on the top of it; also two olive trees by it, one on the right side of the bowl and the other on its left side.”Then I said to the angel who was speaking with me saying, “What are these, my lord?” So the angel who was speaking with me answered and said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.”Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain; and he will bring forth the top stone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”’”

Also the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will finish it. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you. 10 For who has despised the day of small things? But these seven will be glad when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel—these are the eyes of the Lord which range to and fro throughout the earth.”

11 Then I said to him, “What are these two olive trees on the right of the lampstand and on its left?”12 And I answered the second time and said to him, “What are the two olive branches which are beside the two golden pipes, which empty the golden oil from themselves?”13So he answered me, saying, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.” 14 Then he said, “These are the two anointed ones who are standing by the Lord of the whole earth.

Remember what Revelation 11 said?

Revelation 11 (NASB)

And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.” These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.
Thus, I believe Scripture has confirmed itself and has named the Two Witnesses as Joshua (Yeshua – not our Savior, but another High Priest) and Zerubbabel, the man who will lay the foundation stone of the Temple (and who’s name means, “melted by Babylon”).

I had held to the Moses and Elijah argument (for the Two Witnesses) myself for many, many years. But now, I prefer to reason from substance not the absence of it. When Scripture describes two people the exact same way in two different places, it’s a done deal in my opinion. Everything else is anecdotal-based speculation at best.
John was told, “These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.” as if he should have known who the two olive trees and lampstands, which stand before the Lord of the earth are. How would he know, lest it had been told in Scripture somewhere  beforehand? Well, apparently it was…
Zech. 4:
11 Then I said to him, “What are these two olive trees on the right of the lampstand and on its left?”
12 And I answered the second time and said to him, “What are the two olive branches which are beside the two golden pipes, which empty the golden oil from themselves?”
13 So he answered me, saying, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.”
14 Then he said, “These are the two anointed ones who are standing by the Lord of the whole earth.”
Consider also:
Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
John 1:45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
Yeshua (Jesus) came to fulfill all that was written by the Law and the Prophets. So as compelling as the “Law and the Prophets” argument is for the Two Witnesses, the above seems pretty cut and dry to me. And if this thesis is true, then the Zechariah 3,4 connection would represent the “priests and the kings.”

John defines sin:

1 John 3:4 (KJV)

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Who are to rule and reign with Christ in the coming Millennial Reign?

Revelation 20 (KJV)

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Lucifer’s Missing Stones:

The following was taken from: http://bibletruthsyoudidnotsee.com/gpage22.html

When a study is made of the full angel Lucifer called, The Dragon, Satan, the Devil and the old Serpent, it is apparent that this being was initially garbed as a priest of the heavenly temple of GOD. He was robed similarly to the Jewish High. There was one exception. The Jewish High Priest had a Breastplate of 12 Gems while Lucifer’s Breastplate was made with just 9 gems. He is missing the third row. This is a presentation of the MISSING JEWELS.

THE JEWELS IN LUCIFER FROM EZEKIEL 28
12: Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13: Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 14: Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15: Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. 16: By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 17: Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. 18: Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

ALL THE JEWELS ON THE HIGH PRIEST ROBE FROM EXODUS 28
16: Foursquare it shall be being doubled; a span shall be the length thereof, and a span shall be the breadth thereof. 17: And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, even four rows of stones: the first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this shall be the first row. 18: And the second row shall be an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond. 19: And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst. 20: And the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be set in gold in their inclosings. 21: And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.

14: Issachar is a strong ass crouching down between two burdens: 15: And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute. 19: Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last. 20: Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties.

BUILT-IN LIMITATIONS

The jewel for Issachar is missing because Satan is not a burden bearer. Jesus is. The jewel for Gad is missing because Satan future punishment is assured. Jesus is the victor that was crucified. The jewel for Asher is missing because Satan will never produce royal seed. Jesus is King forever. Since the jewels are embedded into Lucifer at his creation, this would mean that limitations were place into Lucifer before he fell. God by his determinate foreknowledge placed limits on the enemy even before he fell.

Another source puts it this way:

Limitations In Lucifer’s Breastplate

Back to the temple in heaven, we need to examine Lucifer and his covering before he fell. This is found in Ezekiel 28:

Eze 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

Eze 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

Eze 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

The priest after the order of the Levitical priesthood had a breastplate covering which had twelve stones, and we see above that Lucifer had only nine of these twelve stones on its breastplate covering. The twelve stones on the priests breastplate corresponded to each of the twelve tribes of Israel, the sons of Jacob:

Exo 28:15 And thou shalt make the breastplate of judgment with cunning work; after the work of the ephod thou shalt make it; of gold, of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine twined linen, shalt thou make it.

Exo 28:17 And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, even four rows of stones: the first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this shall be the first row.

Exo 28:18 And the second row shall be an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.

Exo 28:19 And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.

Exo 28:20 And the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be set in gold in their enclosings.

Exo 28:21 And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.

Comparing the two lists, we see the three stones the priest had, but Lucifer did not:

Lucifer’s Stones

Levitical priest stones

Sardius Sardius
Topaz Topaz
Carbuncle Carbuncle
Beryl Beryl
Onyx Onyx
Jasper Jasper
Sapphire Sapphire
Emerald Emerald
Diamond Diamond
Ligure
Agate
Amethyst

The three stones missing on Lucifer’s covering was the Ligure, the Agate and the Amethyst. Which three sons of Jacob did these three stones correspond to, and what was the meaning? Again, we saw from Exodus that each of the stones on the breastplate of the priest correspond to one of each of the twelve sons of Jacob:

Exo 28:21 And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.

The order of the sons of Jacob is established in Genesis 49, and the order of the gemstones is established in Exodus 28:

The Sons of Jacob (in birth order)

The Stones on the Breastplate (from Exodus 28)

Reuben Sardius (Sardine)
Simeon Topaz
Levi Carbuncle
Judah Emerald
Dan Sapphire
Naphtali Diamond
Gad Ligure (Jacinth)
Asher Agate
Issachar Amethyst
Zebulun Beryl
Joseph Onyx (Sardonyx)
Benjamin Jasper

In Genesis 49, Jacob was prophesying over each of his twelve sons. The three stones missing from Lucifer’s covering, as seen above, correspond with Gad, Asher and Issachar. Looking at the prophecies spoken over each of these three sons, we see something amazing regarding WHY Lucifer was PURPOSELY not given these stones:

1. Gad:

Gen 49:19 Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.

MEANING: Lucifer would never be an overcomer, and he will not overcome at the last.

2. Asher:

Gen 49:20 Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties.

MEANING: Lucifer would never yield anything royal, including a royal seed.

3. Issachar:

Gen 49:14 Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens:

MEANING: Lucifer would never be able to bear anyone’s burden.

When God formed Lucifer in the beginning of time, he left off this third row of stones, long before the sons of Jacob were born. He put limitations on him from the beginning, and in the process, God said, “Lucifer, you’re never going to be an overcomer, you will never produce any royal seed, and you will never bear anyone’s burden!”

So, from the description in Ezekiel 28, it appears that in the beginning, Lucifer was created as a priest offering a sacrifice of praise and worship through the tabrets and pipes created within his physical structure. He would come before the presence of God in the holy mountain, walking among the stones of fire, bringing the angels and giving God glory, praise and honor. Because of his beauty, however, he was lifted up with pride, and he fell.

The Bride Redeemed From Filth From the Harlot Church System:

Bill Shipman saw it this way…

“It was almost like a vision,” he explained.

I was there in the chambers and on the streets with them. I saw Jesus waiting in a groom’s chamber.

The bride was in another chamber. He was preparing to go in to see her.

While He delayed, she was drawn to the window and became interested in the activities in the street.                                                                                                                    The appeal of the street tugged at her harlot heart until she wandered out there herself.

Soon after she walked out onto the streets she was raped. Her shame deceived her into believing that she had no other life but to become a prostitute, which she did.

She was in a house of prostitution, locked behind huge, solid-oak, medieval doors.

They looked formidable.

They were bolted through with a braided kind of thing with copper on it and different kinds of ironwork.

Jesus went looking for her. He knew where she was.

As He approached the doors, demons howled and hissed at Him and tried to rush Him, yet were cowardly toward Him. He opened the doors and went in.

She was really a mess, and He pleaded with her to come with Him.

In her guilt and shame, she refused, and so He left.

He waited a time and visited her again. Still, she wouldn’t look Him in the face.

Once again, He left her.

As He was waiting in His chamber, fires of passion and anger suddenly flashed in His eyes. He stormed out of His chamber and strode down the street, approaching the house where His bride in harlotry abided.

Everyone saw Him coming. They fled to get out of His way. The demons took one look at Him and ran ahead of Him to lock the doors, hoping to prevent Him from entering.

Without hesitation or pause in his stride, He hit those doors with the palms of His hands. POW! They exploded. Splinters went everywhere.

He walked in and found her withered in shame. Her face was hidden in her hands. This time was different though. This time He didn’t ask her to come with Him.

This time He grasped her hand, led her out, and took her back to the bride’s chamber while she was still in her filthy, semen-stained dress.

I could see the passion and love He had for her in His eyes. Jesus saw her only one way. He saw her as a virgin. Yet, she wouldn’t even look at Him. He reached out, touched her gently, and lifted her face toward His. Hesitantly, she slowly lifted her eyes to look into His. He saw her beyond her shame and forced her beyond her shame.

The moment her eyes connected with His, they were filled with the same

passion for Him that He had for her.

I was right in there with them. I could almost see into their faces. I backed off and saw that she had changed. She was beautiful. She had the same radiance as did Jesus.

They were one.

There was no longing or attraction for anyone or anything other than for one another.

She had eyes only for Him.

She looked like Him, and He looked like her. They were standing in one light.

He was not diminished at all,but she was increased in Him.

Even though she looked like Him and had the same fire in her eyes as

He had in His, she was still under His feet, still under His authority.

That’s what made it as beautiful as it was.

I believe Bill’s vision is from the Lord and reveals perfectly how He sees His bride in harlotry and how

He intends to come for us. Indeed, even as His bride, we have played the harlot with our substitutes for

Jesus. Perhaps even now we feel the shock waves of His footsteps coming near to rid us of our shame

and dress us in robes of righteousness.

The Tribulation Protection Plan:

Exodus 34:21-24 (NLT)

21 “You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but on the seventh day you must stop working, even during the seasons of plowing and harvest.

22 “You must celebrate the Festival of Harvest with the first crop of the wheat harvest, and celebrate the Festival of the Final Harvest at the end of the harvest season. 23 Three times each year every man in Israel must appear before the Sovereign, the Lord, the God of Israel. 24 I will drive out the other nations ahead of you and expand your territory, so no one will covet and conquer your land while you appear before the Lord your God three times each year.

Leviticus 26:3-13 (NRSV)

3 If you follow my statutes and keep my commandments and observe them faithfully, 4 I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.5 Your threshing shall overtake the vintage, and the vintage shall overtake the sowing; you shall eat your bread to the full, and live securely in your land. 6 And I will grant peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and no one shall make you afraid; I will remove dangerous animals from the land, and no sword shall go through your land. 7 You shall give chase to your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. 8 Five of you shall give chase to a hundred, and a hundred of you shall give chase to ten thousand; your enemies shall fall before you by the sword. 9 I will look with favor upon you and make you fruitful and multiply you; and I will maintain my covenant with you. 10 You shall eat old grain long stored, and you shall have to clear out the old to make way for the new. 11 I will place my dwelling in your midst, and I shall not abhor you. 12 And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and you shall be my people. 13 I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be their slaves no more; I have broken the bars of your yoke and made you walk erect.
